Project Overview

This Hong Kong small garden project was designed and completed by Xiaozhu as a customized outdoor landscape solution, transforming a limited outdoor area into a modern, comfortable, and functional private garden. The design concept focused on creating a clean, natural, and easy-to-maintain outdoor environment by integrating multiple elements, including lighting design, privacy fencing, green landscape arrangement, outdoor flooring, and decorative wall finishes.

For urban residential gardens where space is limited, creating a beautiful atmosphere while reducing daily maintenance is always a challenge. Our design team carefully planned every detail, using high-performance outdoor materials and modern landscape techniques to maximize the visual impact and usability of the space.

The final design combines WPC decking, stone paving, WPC wall cladding, ambient lighting, and carefully selected plants to create a harmonious garden that balances modern simplicity with natural warmth.

Client Requirements

The client wanted to transform an ordinary outdoor area into a stylish private garden with a comfortable atmosphere and minimal maintenance requirements. Since Hong Kong has a humid climate and frequent rainfall, the materials needed to be durable, weather-resistant, and easy to clean.

The main requirements included:

Our Solution

Based on the site conditions and the client’s lifestyle needs, Xiaozhu provided a complete garden design solution covering the overall layout, material selection, lighting arrangement, and landscape integration.

For the flooring design, we combined WPC decking and natural stone paving to create different functional zones. The wood-textured WPC decking brings warmth and comfort underfoot, while the stone paving adds a clean and modern visual contrast. This combination not only improves the aesthetics but also creates a more organized garden structure.

A large area of the garden uses high-quality WPC materials, which provide excellent outdoor performance. Compared with traditional wood, WPC decking is resistant to moisture, insects, cracking, and deformation. It requires very little maintenance and can be easily cleaned, making it especially suitable for Hong Kong’s climate.

For the wall decoration, we selected WPC wall panels with a Great Wall profile design. The unique grooved surface creates three-dimensional texture and depth, replacing traditional flat wall finishes with a more modern architectural appearance. The vertical lines visually extend the height of the space and create a stronger design identity.

To enhance the atmosphere, we integrated warm outdoor spotlights into the wall design. The lighting highlights the texture of the wall panels at night while creating a comfortable and elegant garden environment.
